You've reached the website of artist and plein air instructor, John Zaleski.  I am a Canadian artist based in Welland, Ontario, mostly focusing on landscape and portraiture including animals. Of course, during a long career, at various times I've also been attracted to other areas of specialization, including seascapes, sailing and related marine endeavours. Having found nature in all of its complexities to be most compelling inspiration, I've regaled in the 'plein air' artistic style, which I also teach in College courses.
